The curriculum will have 2 components:

  1. world language instruction
  2. solar incorporation into the science program including financial resource management

The world language and science curriculum will be developed in conjunction with staff and teachers. We will be pulling from existing programs in use and those that some of our staff have taught in other districts.

 As the hybrid curriculum is being developed, these areas will be at the forefront.

The use of technology in teaching methods

Coordination and articulation across all levels of instruction

Appropriate teaching methodologies for young students

Quality instructional materials

Evaluation procedures for students, teachers and the program

Appropriate and realistic program goals

 

The complete curriculum will be available for viewing upon request.
 


    Staff Training
Teachers will be recruited who have excellent language skills and qualifications to teach a foreign language to young students. They will be well informed about current teaching strategies and will work together as a team to provide a carefully developed, articulated curriculum.
